Priests

Fr Jose Vicente Excelso Leitao was a native of Neura, Goa. He worked in the Church of Siridao, Goa and later at Goa Velha Goa  followed by posting at Neura, Goa. He passed away at Neura at 8:30 pm on 9th March 1879.

Fr Jose Virgilio Colaco was a Goan priest who worked in the Goan Church of Batim, Raia and Merces as the Vicar. The Batim Church, the Raia Church and the Merces church are among the older Goan Churches in Goa.  He was a native of Velim, Goa. He passed away on 22 August 1982 at Raia, Goa.

Fr Jose Vital dos Reis Fernandes was a Diocesan priest who was the Vicar at the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary at Curca in Goa. The Our Lady of Rosary Church at Curca, Goa is one of the oldest Goan Churches which was built in the 17th Century. He was a native of Agassaim, Goa. He passed away while in service as the Vicar of Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Curca, Goa on 18 April 1971.

Fr Jose Vitorino de Nazare was a Goan priest who worked in the Goan Churches of Batim and Bambolim as the Vicar. The Batim Church and the Bambolim Church are one of the older Goan Churches in Goa.  He was a native of Siolim, Goa. He passed away in Siolim on 24 December 1835.
