Fr Carlos de Sousa was the Vicar of Santa Inez Church from 1776 to 1791. Due to his illness he was helped in administration by Fr Joao Xavier de Mendonca from 19 March 1788 onward and Fr Pedro Paulo Dias from Sao Bartolomeu from 1790 onward till 1792. Fr Carlos de Sousa asked to be relieved from services on 12 Jan 1791. He was a native of Naroa, Goa.
