Priests

Fr Francisco Gonsalves de Melo was a Diocesan Priest who worked as the Vicar in the Church of Sao Bartolomew, ( St. Bartolomeu), Chorao, Goa. The St Bartolomeu Church on the Island of Chorao in Goa was built in 1569.

Fr Francisco Gregorio Camilo de Sousa was a Goan Diocesan Priest.  He worked in the Church of The Holy Spirit at Naroa, Goa as the Vicar.  The Naroa Church was built in 1710. He was a native of Aldona, Goa.

Fr Francisco Jose de Anunciasao Barbosa was a Diocesan Priest who worked as the Vicar in the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Panjim, Goa. The Immaculate Conception Church at Panjim, Goa was built in 1600. He was a native of Raia, Goa. He was previously the Parish priest of the Holy Spirit Church, Margao, Goa. He was also the Dean of Panjim.  He was then appointed Canon of the Cathedral Chapter of the Archdiocese. He was a Monsenhor by Brief of 10 April 1958. He passed away at Margao on 20 September 1992 and was laid to rest in his native Raia, Goa.

Fr Francisco Jose Estanislau Pais was a Goan Diocesan Priest.  He worked in the Church of Our Lady of Merces at Merces as the Vicar.  The Merces Church was built in 1613. He was a native of Parra, Goa. He passed away in the Parish house at Merces in January 1947.
