Priests

Fr Francisco de Mendonca was a native of Ucassaim, Goa. He was the Vicar of Batim and Siolim. During his tenure at Batim, he was assisted by Fr Cristovam Caetano Gomes from Agassaim till 1780 and Fr Jose Joao Antonio de Melo from Sao Matias till 1782.

Fr Francisco de Miranda was a Diocesan Priest who worked as the Vicar in the Church of Our Lady of Ajuda (Help), Ribandar, Goa and at the Church of St Inez, Goa. He was away in Madras for a considerable period during his tenure. He was a native of Cuncolim, Goa. He passed away in 1843.

Fr Francisco de Noronha was a Diocesan Priest who worked as the Vicar in the Church of Sao Bartolomew, ( St. Bartolomeu), Chorao, Goa. The St Bartolomeu Church on the Island of Chorao in Goa was built in 1569.

Frei Francisco de Paula was an Augustinian Vicar who worked in the Church of St John the Evangelist in Neura, Goa. He worked in the Royal Chapel of St Anthony at Old Goa. He was from the Parish of Nossa Senhora da Praca in Lisboa, Portugal. He was the Rector of the Colegio de Sao Guilherme de Goa in 1735 to 1741. He died in 1752.
