Fr Ambrosio de Santa Agostinho was born as Ambrosio Nunes da Silva. He was the son of Domingos Esteves and of Maria Nunes from Lisbon in the parish of Santa Engracia. He was the Prior of the Convent of Chaul from 1720 to 1728. Rector of the Colegio of St Paulo de Goa from 1726 to 1729. He was Provincial of the Congregation in 1738 and from 1750 to 1753. He died in the Convent of Grasa ( Grace) in Goa on 21 December 1763.
Fr Amelino Antonio Francisco Vaz was a native of Assolna, Goa. He worked in the Church of Our Lady of Grace at Chorao, Goa and was previously a missionary at Holga de Sadashivgad. He also worked in the church of Santa Inez, Goa and later at Merces, Goa. He died on 27 November 1987.
