Priests

Fr Antonio dos Remedios Azavedo was a native of Majorda, Goa.  He worked in the Church of Santa Inez, Goa and later worked in the Church of Linhares, Goa.

Fr Antonio de Melo was a Diocesan Priest who was appointed Chaplain of the Chapel of Our Lady of Desterro, Desterro, Mormugao, Goa.

Fr Antonio da Encarnasao was born as Antonio da Silva Esplanger. He was the son of Simao da Silva Esplanger Aranha. He was born at Permambuco. He held many posts in Bassein and was also elected the Provincial of the Congregation on 26th September 1735. He was also the Vicar of the Church of Neura in 1738. He was elected as the Bishop of Mylapore in 1745 and was consecrated in the Convent of Graca (Grace) in Goa in 1947. He died at the Se and is buried in the Sanctuary.
