Fr Ariston Trazes Dias was a native of Velim, Goa. He was the Chaplain of Holy Cross Chapel, Chinchinim, Goa. He was the Parish priest of Bambolim, Goa and transferred to Sadolxem, Goa. He also worked as the Vicar in the Church of Sao Braz (St Blaise) at Gandaulim, Goa. The St Blaise Church in Goa was built in 1563.
He passed away on 09 March 2006 at Velim, Goa.
