Fr Pedro Filomeno Soares was a Diocesan Priest who worked as the Vicar in the Church of Our Lady of Piedade (Piety), Divar, Goa. The Our Lady of Piedade ( Piety) Church at Divar was built in 1625. He was a native of Mandur, Goa. He was previously the Vicar of Ribandar, Goa. He was then the Dean of Piedade, Goa and later worked in the Church of Santa Cruz, Goa. He also worked in the Church of Cavelossim, Goa.He passed away on 2 December 2000 at the Clergy Home in Porvorim and was laid to rest at Mandur, Goa.
