Frei Jose de Presentasao was an Augustinian Vicar who worked in the Church of St John the Evangelist in Neura, Goa. The Church of St John the Evangelist was built in 1541.He was previously the Vicar at the Parish of Our Lady of Conception, Anciao.
Fr Jose de S Guilherme was the son of Tome Bernardo da Silva and of Ana Leonor from Lisbon, Parish of Senhora Engracia. He was the Prior of the convent of Grasa ( 1766-68), Vicar of Calcutta and Commissary of the Provincial of Bengal 1769. He also worked in the Royal Chapel of St Anthony in Old Goa. He died in Lisbon in March 1792.
