Priests

Fr João Gomes was a Diocesan Priest who worked as the Vicar in the Church of Our Lady of Ajuda (Help), Ribandar, Goa. The Our Lady of Ajuda ( Help) Church at Ribandar was built in the Sixteenth Century.

Fr João Gonsalves was a Goan priest who worked in the Goan Church of Corlim  as well as the St Andrew Church, Goa Velha and also at the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary, Old Goa. He was a native of Piedade, Goa. He passed away in 1770.

Fr João Henriques was a Diocesan Priest who worked as the Vicar in the Church of Sao Bartolomew, ( St. Bartolomeu), Chorao, Goa. The St Bartolomeu Church on the Island of Chorao was built in 1569. During his tenure the corner stone of the new church was placed on 24th August, 1624. The Church was completed on 28th May 1649.  On the day of the completion there were grand celebrations with the assistance of the Archbishop D Francisco dos Martires and the Patriarch of Ethiopia D Joao Nunes Barreto S. J.  He passed away on 18th December 1647 and was laid to rest in the sanctuary of the Church.

Fr João Henriques do Rosario was a Diocesan priest who was the Vicar at the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary at Curca in Goa and at the Church of Santa Ana, Talaulim, Goa.  He was a native of Mormugao, Goa. He was Ordained as a Priest in the Chapel of Santa Inez on 22 September 1759.
