Frei Inacio de Santa Rita was born as Inacio da Costa. He was the son of Matias Correia and of gracia da Costa from Braga. He was the Prior of the Convent of grasa de Goa from 1753 to 1756. He also worked in the Royal Chapel of St Anthony in Old Goa. He died in 1761.
