Fr Freddy Jeremias da Costa was a native of Varca, Goa. He was the Chaplain of Our Lady of Candelaria and Parish priest of Bambolim. He was then transferred to Siridao. He passed away on 17 May 2004 while in service and was laid to rest in varca, Goa.

Frei Alberto de Sao Jose was a Dominican Vicar based at the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary at Curca. The Our Lady of Rosary Church at Curca, Goa is one of the oldest Goan Churches which was built in the 17th Century.

Frei Constantino do Rosario was the son of the Emperor of Monomotapa. Hewas the second Vicar of Curca. His Brother Frei Miguel also a Dominican was the Vicar of the Church of Santa Barbara. The Emperor was baptised in 1607, the other name of the Vicar was his royal name Prince Constantino do Rosario.
