Fr Antonio Celestino Lobo was a native of Nachinola, Goa. He was the Vicar of Batim and Chorao. During his illness he was assisted by Fr Domingos Gago from Chorao. He also worked as the Vicar in the Church of Sao Bartolomew, ( St. Bartolomeu), Chorao, Goa. The St Bartolomeu Church on the Island of Chorao in Goa was built in 1569. He passed away in Nachinola on 28 September 1777 and was buried in the sanctuary of the Church.
