Brief Historical Background:
The Congregation of the Sisters of St. Ann was founded in Italy, in the year 1834, by a pious couple, Marquis Carlo Tancredi and Giulia Falletti of Barolo, for Christian education of children and youth, specially the poor and needy and to render any other charitable service required by the needs of the times. Today the Congregation has extended its mission to India and to six other countries, collaborating everywhere with varied activities in the Church’s work of evangelization.
