Brief Historical Background:
The Pilar Sisters Association was set up n this Archdiocese in the year 1988. The Charism of the Pilar Sisters Association is to proclaim the Gospel to those who do not yet know Christ, in a special way to the poor and the marginalized. The members of this Pious Association of women are engaged in pastoral, educational and social apostolates – with special focus on women – both in Goa and in the Mission of Daman.
