Brief History Background:
The congregation founded in Holland by Fr. Mathias Wolff, S.J. in the year 1822, for the education of young women. Today besides educational and professional training institutions the Sisters run hospitals and rehabilitation centres and are engaged in prison ministry. Their motto is ‘Ever Adaptable Apostolic Availability.; In India, they have 3 provinces and 86 houses in 11 states.
