Our Lady of Piety High School, Collem, Sanguem, Goa caters to students of various tribes essentially from the rural belt of Goa. Located in the remote area which used to be previously densely forested and now a heavy mining area, Our Lady of Piety High School, Collem, Sanguem, Goa has around 500 students on its roles every year. These students come from different backgrounds and the school becomes a centre of learning about each other, mixing and becoming friends.

The Our Lady of Piety High School, Collem, Sanguem, Goa is run by the Xaverian educational society which is a part of the Pilar Fathers order in Goa. The current manager of the school is Fr Tadeu D’Silva sfx and the Headmaster of the school is Fr Santhosh D’Souza sfx.
Our Lady of Piety High School, Collem, Sanguem, Goa is affiliated to the Goa Board of Secondary and Senior Secondary education and has been in existence for the last 48 years. English is the medium of instruction with emphasis also laid on Hindi, Konkani and Marathi.
Our Lady of Piety High School, Collem, Sanguem, Goa school management aims at all round development of the child based on moral and human values thus enabling the child to be unique, mature and responsible. Individual creativity is promoted through art, craft and drawing. Importance is also given to physical education and sports to strengthen physical abilities to the fullest. Musical talent amongst children has been encouraged by starting regular music classes conducted by experienced teachers.

The dedicated staff of the school comprise of 20 teaching staff including lab assistants and 2 non teaching staff as well as 3 helpers.
