The Siridao church was initially a primitive church founded by the Dominicans between 1554 and 1603. The Siridao church collapsed entirely in 1869. The parish territory of the Siridao Church was then joined to Goa Velha. When the Siridao church was being re built as a parish in 1906, Siridao was administered from a chapel. The present Siridao church was blessed on 13.5.1973.
