History:
The Our Lady of Immaculate Conception Church, Dabal, Goa is called ‘Nossa Senhora da Imaculada Conceicao Igreja em Dabal, Goa’ in Portuguese. Our Lady of Immaculate Conception Church, Dabal, Goa is also known as ‘The Dabal Church’ locally in Goa. The Dabal church existed before 1897. The Dabal church was affiliated to Tilamola and Sanvordem. The present parish of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception Church, Dabal, Goa was built in 1958. The pastoral care of the Dabal Church was entrusted to the members of the Pilar society SFX for 31 years till in May 1997. A new church building of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception Church, Dabal, Goa was blessed on May 25, 1997.
