Fr Luis Filipe Barreto was a Diocesan Priest who worked as the Vicar in the Church of Sao Matias, Malar, Goa. The St Matias Church at Malar on the Island of Divar in Goa was built in 1590. He was a native of Loutulim, Goa. He was previously the Vicar of Sao Tome de Cidade. He was later transferred to Verna, Goa.
