Frei Jose de Santa Teresa was an Augustinian Vicar who worked in the Church of St John the Evangelist in Neura, Goa. The Church of St John the Evangelist at Neura was built in 1541. He was from the Parish of Our Lady of Assunsao from Portugal. He worked as the Vicar of Neura and administrator of the Coconut Grove of Dongorim.
