Fr Jose de Amenciasao was born as Jose Tavares in the Villa de Berta in the Parish of St Peter. He was the Visitator of the Congregation in 1723. He worked in the Royal Chapel of St Anthony in Old Goa. He died in Bengal in March 1735.
