Fr Eduardo Apolinario Jose Xavier Fernandes was a Diocesan Priest who worked as the Vicar in the Church of Sao Matias, Malar, Goa. The St Matias Church at Malar on the Island of Divar in Goa was built in 1590. He then worked in the Church of Macasana. He was a native of Velim, Goa. He died in 05 August 2004.
