Fr Custodio da Piedade Francisco Monteiro was a Diocesan Priest who worked as the Vicar in the Church of Our Lady of Piedade (Piety), Divar, Goa. The Our Lady of Piedade ( Piety) Church at Divar was built in 1625. He also worked as the Vicar in the Church of Sao Matias, Malar, Goa. The St Matias Church at Malar on the Island of Divar in Goa was built in 1590.He was a native of Loutulim, Goa. He was relieved at his request. He died on 19 April 1951 at Lotoulim, Goa.
