Fr Bento Jose Caetano de Almeida was a native of Goa Velha, Goa. He worked in the Church of Santa Ana, Talaulim and later was the Chaplain of Nossa Senhora de Narare, Siridao, Goa. He then returned as the Vicar of Santa Ana, Talaulim, Goa. He died at 11 pm on 12 October 1919 at Goa Velha, Goa.
