Fr Basilio Santana de Santa Rita Carvalho was a Diocesan Priest who worked as the Vicar in the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Panjim, Goa. The Immaculate Conception Church at Panjim, Goa was built in 1600. He was a Spiritual Director and a Professor of the Minor Seminary at Saligao- Pilerne. He was then the Parochial administrator of the Parish of Immaculate Conception Church , Panjim, Goa. He was appointed Dean of the Panjim Deanery. on 9 March 2002 he was relieved from the post of Parish Priest of Immaculate Conception Church, Panjim, Goa.
