Fr Agostinho de Jesus was born in Panelim in Goa. He Served in Macau as well as in St Inez, Goa and St Anthony, Royal Chapel in Old Goa. At the request of Captain Diogo Leite he went to the Mission of Bengal where he helped to serve the community. He died in the convent of Graca ( Grace) on 15th February 1782.
