Our Lady of Health Chapel, Mazalvaddo, Anjuna, Goa

Our Lady of Health Chapel, Mazalvaddo, Anjuna, Goa is also commonly known as the Saude Chapel, Saude being the Portuguese word for health. Our Lady of Health Chapel, Mazalvaddo, Anjuna, Goa is a residential Chapel with a resident Chaplain.  Since the Patron church of St. Michael in Anjuna is also under the Pilar Fathers, the Chaplain divides his time between Chapel duty and helping out the needs of the parishioners at St Michaels church.

Our Lady of Health Chapel, Mazalvaddo, Anjuna, Goa has a mass every day of the week and two masses on Sundays. Catechism classes are also held at the Chapel on Sunday. Once a week the Eucharistic celebration is held at the premises of the Holy Family Sisters in Vagator. Every 1st Friday of the month Holy Communion is administered to elderly and sick people along with a Holy Hour service in the chapel.

The main feasts celebrated at Our Lady of Health Chapel, Mazalvaddo, Anjuna, Goa are Christmas , Easter which have midnight masses. The feast of the patron saint of Our Lady of Health Chapel, Mazalvaddo, Anjuna, Goa is celebrated in May. On the 31st of October every year there is a procession of Our Lady and also the Feast of the Nativity is celebrated grandly in the chapel.
